An example of the consulting service
One significant Slovak brewery extended the product portfolio in the times of excise increase and purchasing power decrease. It was necessary to effectively use all the existing sources (financial, technical, technological, human, time and managerial) in order to manage the product portfolio and to maintain the satisfaction of the customers during the period of market stagnation. By means of interim management we suggested and implemented radical changes in the organisational structure, based on the detailed analysis of the situation and the requirements of the top and middle management and also with regard to the potentials of the brewery itself.

This change enabled utilization of the product management potential and significantly improved the level of the operative, middle term management and controlling in the fields of human resources and business. This complex attitude included also preparing and training the human resources and accepting the requirements of the financial mangement, strategical management, human resource management, production and sales departments of the brewery. The brewery, inspite of market stagnation that eventually turned into recession, managed to keep its position on the market even with the small sales decrease. As a result, the company was not forced to get into the price war and kept its relatively highly efficient marketability.

As far as strategical marketing and strategical management was concerned we participated on defining the future strategy of the brewery and the further properties and characteristics of potential strategic partner and we also helped to define the company´s negotiating position. We were the part of the team contacting potentional partners, we took part in further selection process and in complex and complicated negotiations. We are proud to say that this was successfully completed and the needs of the owners, managers, employees and moreover were met, as well as the requirements for further development of the brewery brand were satisfied.
